Life Day 22807: It’s Going To Be A Short Day
December 21, 2009 on 9:58 pm | In Homefront |Happy Winter Solstice everyone. Thankfully today is the shortest day of the year. It was cold and rainy most of the day. Occasionally, the sun peeked through the clouds, but it was insufficient to warm the day.
I had a doctors appointment at the VA this morning. Things are well for me health-wise. My cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure and heart are all good. I got a regular flu shot, the H1N1 flu shot and a tetanus shot as well. The doctor did notice that my red-cell count is a little low, and ordered another lab test. If they find anything to worry about, they’ll schedule another appointment.
I spent the rest of the day ‘geeking’.
